Words cannot describe how I feel. I have lost my best friend, my partner, my lover, my soulmate. My husband was the best thing that ever happened to me. We have known each other since I was just five years old. We had dated on and off until we met again in 1979 and were married. We had 36 years wonderful years together filled with lots of love. To think that my husband's illness was due to being a first responder during 9/11 and that the last time we spent together was on 9/11, together with our daughter Lisa, our daughter-in-law Allie and our grandson Henry Thomas. He was able to spend some time with our grandson who is only three weeks old. Tommy you were the love of my life. You may be gone but I know your suffering is over. I'll love you forever as we have always said to each other "forever love". Rest in Peace my love.
