Condolence From: Rose Ryan, Theresa Ryan
Condolence: If you took all the things that a great person should be, one would say that's impossible to be all of that in one person. Yet, that's Tommy. He was all the things a good man should be. Our dear lifelong friend, Tommy. Capt. Hogan. Kind-hearted, good-natured, humble, super funny witty Irishman, brilliant scholar and proud strong, exemplary professional NYPD Capt., and most importantly a proud, dedicated, consistent, conscientious, caring family man - and
true life-long friend to us. We are blessed to have been part of his life and honored he was a part of ours.

Condolence: We are so saddened to hear about Tommy’s passing. My husband and I both worked with him in the 49th Precinct. He was a great boss, person and friend. He will be greatly missed, we have such happy memories of him.

Condolence: It was a pleasure to have Tom as a member of the New York Tennis Club. I found him to be a low keyed soft spoken type of person but always willing to help others. He showed his spirit on the tennis court. He is gone too soon and will be missed and perhaps the good die young as the saying goes. There are never enough words to really ease the pain and I extend my sincerest sympathy to the Hogan family in your loss. May he rest in peace.

Condolence: Please accept my sincere condolences. I can't imagine the pain you must be feeling to lose such a young man like Thomas. I hope that you find a measure of solace from the God of all Comfort. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4. "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." Death is the hardest thing we have to deal with in life. I know words can do little to take away the pain you are feeling, so may the God of comfort be with your family, helping you to cope. I have found free, comforting, information on jw.org. I hope it can prove to be a source of solace to you as well. (2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17 and Psalms 147:3)
