On Tuesday, May 25, 2021, Robert A. Taronji, loving son, passed away at age 31.
Robert was born on May 27, 1989 in Bronx, New York.
After graduating from of All Hallow’s High School, he continued his education to receive his Bachelor’s Degree from Baruch College and a Master’s Degree from John Jay College. He was currently attending Brooklyn Law School as well as working full time as Courtroom Deputy for the Honorable District Judge Roslynn R. Mauskopf in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
Robert’s fun-loving jovial nature, charm, kindness and sense of humor touched the lives of many people from his college circle of friends as well as childhood friends to his co-workers at the Eastern District of New York. His commitment, loyalty and dedication to his job and his studies were exemplary. As busy as he was, Robert always had time for others. He had a magical gift of bringing people together with his jokes, creative singing and poetry. He had an infectious laugh, a sweet smile and a calm demeanor that his friends and family treasured. He wasn’t shy and often took center stage to gift his audience with his words. Aside from being a true friend, he was a devoted loving son and ever present member to all in his family. In the words of one of his friends, “He celebrated life even in the little things.”
Robert was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jorge Taronji, and his great grandmother Alicia Ortiz. He is survived by his parents, Aida and Steve, his grandmother Luisa, his grandmother Lucy, his grandfather Ruben, his great grandfather Luis, various uncles, aunt, cousins and grand aunt.
