Life Story for Robert D. Stone

Robert Dorgan Stone,59, of the Bronx, passed away on Monday, May 16,2016, after a long illness. He was born in the Bronx and was a lifelong resident of the Bronx. He joined the US Navy in 1973 and was honorably discharged in 1975. Robert was a carpenter for over 30 years and a member of Local 608.
Surviving are his wife, Maida; his children, Melissa Nielson, Teresa Stone and William Kelly; six grandchildren, Hailey, Willa, Ava, Danielle, Maya and Justin; brothers, Michael, Richard and Thomas (Melinda) and nephew, Michael. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Joan and Robert G. Stone and his sister, Donna Stone.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM. Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 11:30 AM at St. Benedict's Church followed by cremation at Woodlawn Crematory.
