Obituary for Mary O'Keeffe

Mary O'Keeffe
Mary Bernadette O'Keeffe (nee Walsh) passed away peacefully at her home in the Bronx on January 5, 2018. Mary was born in Dingle, County Kerry, Ireland and emigrated to the U.S. as a teenager settling first in Massachusetts and then the Bronx where she met her future husband Thomas. C. O'Keeffe. They were married over 50 years, raising five sons in the Westchester Square neighborhood of the Bronx. Thomas predeceased Mary in 2014.

Mary is survived by her sons, Sean, Thomas, Kevin, Brendan, and Brian; and eight grandchildren, Kevin, Kerry, Malai, Brendan, Jake, Kate, Mary Grace, and Alexander.
Mary was loved by all who knew her. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and was a devoted parishioner of St. Raymond's Church.
