Maria Teresa Versaci was born on May 25, 1925 in the small town of San Fratello in Sicily, Italy. In 1963, she immigrated to the United States with her husband, Francesco and 3 children, Angela, Maria Rosa & Carmine. They were married for over 60 years, living in the Bronx. She worked as a seamstress and was a member of the ILGWU and the Sacred Heart Society at St. Benedict’s Parish.

She is survived by her 3 children Angela and her husband Salvatore, Maria Rosa & Carmine and his wife Fran, her 8 grandchildren Joseph, Fara, Alfred, Frank, Maria, Anthony, Nick and John, and her 5 great-grandchildren Joseph, Mia, Matthew, Luke and Jackson.

Maria Teresa was loved by all who knew her. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
