My grandmother, or 'Abuela Cela' as I called her, was a magical woman. Talented, she would make my sisters & me beautiful dresses. She also made the best "majarete" & lasagna I've ever had. She was a very loving woman, and loved by many more. I'll miss her, but I'm very happy she's joined my grandfather in heaven.
Dear Grandma,
Thank you for always being a wonderful role model. You walked quietly with grace through your life. You always stood tall and yet did not need to be the center of attention. You taught us how to sew and to cook some great foods too. We remember your peanut butter and jelly on toast (that was just perfect) with a laughing cow chocolate milk. Your arroz con gandules, majarette, rice pudding and yes, your lasagna (that you always credited to an Italian lady that taught you). You created custom made dresses for us and we always looked great! We were lucky to have been blessed with your life for so many years. Rest peacefully. XXXOOO
Bendiciones y aleluyas!
I remember how you were a good role model for the attributes that God would want us to exemplify in our lives. Attributes like kindness, gentleness, thoughtfulness. I remember your loving smile, your warm hug, and your unconditional love. We love you Grandma. You are in our hearts and we look forward to seeing you and other family members when we are with our Lord.
My dear grandma. You were a wonderful grandmother and a wonderful person. I feel your presence now as I am sure you are in God's loving arms. You will always be in my heart. I will always remember you fondly. I remember many of our good times at your home in Puerto Rico and on Lexington Avenue in NY. I remember our good times at Jones Beach, Robert Moses State Park, and our various family get-togethers at other great places. I remember dancing with our cousins, aunts, uncles and other family me
