Obituary for Kathleen Arroyo

Kathleen Rettig was born on Sunday September 17,1939 to Julia and Albert Rettig and had2 brothers, Albert and George and two sisters, Pauline and Theresa. Georgie passed away as a young baby and Al kept his father’s namesake alive and married our Aunt Dorothy. Kathleen married Damien Arroyo and they had two children Michael who married Ethel, and Albert who married Yvonne. Kathleen had a 3rd son Jefferson from an earlier time in her life that she was so happy to be reunited with again. Kathleen was also a grandmother to Tara, Jessica, and Matthew. She is also survived by a great grandson Isaac, and a great granddaughter named Olivia. Kathleen is also survived by 4 nieces, Jeananne, Patricia, Rosanne and her nephews, Philip, Robert, Johnnie, Georgie and great niece, Cassie. Kathleen was very close with her older sisters growing up. Kathy will be remembered for her love for pets, especially her cat, Midnight, and her two dogs, Tiffany. Princess, and Nikki. Kathy is now reunited with her long time companion, Richie Pinto. Kathy was raised in Morris Park and were members of St. Dominic's Church .Morris Park was the family’s roots and held fond memories for all of the family. Our Aunt longed to be with her mom, dad, and siblings again and now she is reunited with them and may rest in peace and live in eternal happiness with them again.
Visitation is at Schuyler Hill Funeral Friday, November 12, 2021 from 4-8 and Church will be Saturday, November 13. 10:00am at St. Dominic's church
