Joseph Kaylor, of Queens NY, passed away at the age of 69, on April 5, 2018. Born April 20, 1948 in New York, NY, Joseph was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Kaylor. Joseph’s life was centered on adoration and devotion of his family.

Joseph is survived by his loving daughter Jill Brett and her husband Brendan Brett, grand-daughter Meghan Brett of West Hempstead, NY; brother and sister-in-law Michael & Janis Kaylor of Bethel, CT; brother Charles Kaylor of Cortlandt Manor, NY; sister Maureen Kerwin of Larchmont, NY, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Joseph was a retired New York City Police Officer. Following his retirement, he went on to work security for Fisher Brothers in New York City. Joe had a heart of gold and brought endless laughs to all who knew him. He enjoyed Motown music, playing the horses and spending time at Long Beach, NY fishing and visiting with his friends. There are no words to describe how much Joe will be missed.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, April 8, 2018, at the Schuyler Hill Funeral Home, 3535 East Tremont Avenue Bronx, NY from 3pm-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday April 9 2018 at St Benedict’s Church, Bronx, NY at 11:30 am.
