It was October 13, 2019, the year our grandson was diagnosed. Watching him apple picking that particular year was heartbreaking but at the same time one of the most rewarding events. Nugget had a good time, apple and pumpkin picking and laughing. Nugget was the most amazing, full of life, joy and love. He was such a comical little jokester.  Nugget...YOU WILL ALWAYS BE THE APPLE OF MY EYE, the song in my heart, the warmth in my smile, the sunshine on my face, the lightof my life.  "Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings." (Psalm 17:8). Sleep In Peace my sweet little angel. I miss you so much.
