Obituary for James C. McGuinness

James Christopher McGuinness began his journey through life some seven decades ago in Brooklyn, NY, born to Joseph and Marie. His siblings included Edward, Eileen and Marie, as well as Miriam, who sadly passed several years ago.

Eventually, Jim came to meet and marry Betty. The two raised four children—Maureen, Christopher, Deborah and Kevin. They also welcomed the birth of their grandson, Christopher, in 2000. After more than three decades of marriage, Betty passed away in 2002.

But there was still more to come for Jim. In addition to earning an undergraduate degree in history and becoming involved with a local social organization, Jim was blessed with the birth of his granddaughter, Ashlee, in 2005. Jim was also lucky enough to fall in love again and start a new chapter in his life. Jim and Angela shared many years of joy and happiness together.

Jim was a generous and caring person, and when he unexpectedly left this world on May 8th, he left an empty space that will not easily be filled. He will be missed by all and will not be forgotten.
