Jack would share his many stories of fishing and crabbing in Westchester Creek with his Dad. He also found Scallop shells in the creek at one time. Jack attended almost every meeting pertaining to the waterways of the East Bronx and was an advocate for Westchester Creek especially. He was a friend to my Mom Catherine Poggi and became a friend of mine as well. I will miss him dearly. He spoke of his wonderful days with his grandchildren (bringing bread up to them from the Bronx on the weekends).
