George was always good to me and my family ever since I was a child. He watched over me at all the reenactments I had the pleasure of participating with him in. He was kind, funny, and a good leader. Growing up with him, his wife, and children were some of my fondest memories as a reenactor. Even later in life, when I would bump into him at an event, he always brought a smile to my face. He always asked about my family, and chatted with me about all matter of things.
My sincere and deepest condolences go out to the family, I wish I could be there to give them in person. We have truly lost a great reenactor, a great friend, and overall, a great man.
I knew George since I was a teenager. in a business with a lot of shady characters , George stood out as one of the real, genuine good guys. George had a big heart and was always very generous. Everyone at the plumbing supply store is gonna miss him. RIP George, 'till we meet again....
A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and mind and
through us, they live on.
Please accept our condolences, George will not be forgotten.
