Gabriele Angelo Palladino, age 91, passed away at York Hospital in Pennsylvania due to complications from Covid on January 24, 2022. He was born in the Bronx and raised in Italy from 6 months old. He came back to America when he was 20 years old and worked as a Tailor with his dad. He came here not knowing a word of English but met his beautiful wife Jeanette shortly after arriving and she taught him the English language. They were married a few years later and raised 3 children together, Carmine, Michael and Jean. After years of being a Tailor and making suits for Lord and Taylor he opened up a Tropicana route in Manhattan.
He is survived by his daughter Jean MacFadden and her husband Alan MacFadden, his son Michael Palladino and his wife Grace Palladino, and daughter-in law Ellen Palladino. He was preceded in death by his son Carmine Palladino , his parents Ida Palladino and Carmine Palladino and His brother Guido Palladino, his wife Ana Marie Palladino, nephew Carmine Palladino, niece Norida Palladino and husband Gianpaolo, and Sister Maria Aliberti and husband Rocco Aliberti, Nephew Jerry Aliberti and wife Santa, and their children and Nephew Fred Aliberti and wife Amy Aliberti and their children. He also leaves behind his 7 grandchildren Jennifer Malinowski and husband Adam Malinowski , Brian MacFadden and Fiancé Tyna Kiersnowska, Brittany Kiefer and husband Billy Kiefer, Steven Palladino and wife Ashley Palladino, Michele Miller and husband Tom Miller, Stacy Sakellariou and husband John Sakellariou, Michael Palladino and Wife Laura Palladino . He was also blessed with 10 Great grandchildren Natalie, Andrew, Luke, Vivienne, Riley, Hailey, Olivia, Sophia, Felicity and James. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Funeral Services will take place on Thursday and Friday January 27, and 28. The viewing will be on Thursday January 27, from 3-7 and a prayer service Friday morning at 8:30 @ Schuyler Hill Funeral home in the Bronx. The mass will be held at St. Benedict’s at 9:30am in the Bronx Friday morning and the burial will follow at St Raymond’s Cemetery. After the burial we will have a celebration of life at Patricias of Morris Park
