For over thirty years Doris was an integral part of the Detective Investigators and the Bronx District Attorneys family. Her dedication and passion for her work, especially investigating child abuse cases , was outstanding. She was always very attentive to all the victims, giving special attention with her compassion to the children who were affected by these cases. She was an excellent Investigator, a great supervisor, always willing to mentor and share her knowledge with her the staff. Doris is yet another victim of the 9/11 attack. Without hesitation, she responded to the World Trade Center to assist with the rescue and recovery immediately after in occurred. She did so on duty and off to help in any way she could. Helping, assisting and being there for others, was who Doris was. Her illness was directly related to the time she spent at the site.
