September 6th 1952- December 25th 2022
Dennis J. Caporale, 70, of Bronx N.Y. died peacefully on December 25th, 2022. He was
born in the Bronx on September 6th, 1952 to Anthony and Mary Patricia Caporale. He dedicated
over 30 years of service to the United States Postal Service and over 10 years of dedicated
service as a Security Officer at Calvary Hospital. He is survived by the love of his life Diane,
whom he married on February 16th, 1975, his Loving Daughter Erica, Son-in-law Ernesto
(Villani), and Granddaughters Victoria and Valerie. His Loving Son Matthew, Daughter-in-law
Liz, and Grandson Matteo. He is survived by his older sister Julia and older brother Anthony.
Predeceased by his brothers Dominic and Robert.
Dennis was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Spending quality time with his
grandchildren as “Pop” brought him great joy. Dennis will be remembered for his kindness and
selflessness in putting all others first. He had a remarkable ability to connect with all people and
evoke that same spirit of love in each person he knew. He was a stubborn force to be reckoned
with. An advocate for being who you are and doing what you want. Loud, Funny, and Intelligent.
There is so much more that should be said, but in the end what he did was make our world
brighter and funnier. His humor always lightened the room and was the king of sarcasm with his
witty comebacks that made everyone laugh. His humor and his party antics will be deeply
missed.
Services will be held at Schulyer Hill Funeral Home on Thursday, December 29th from
3:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 30th at 10:00 am at St.
