Aston Cecil Shaw was born January 8,1930 and was called by God to be with his wife on October 10, 2022. He was born in Jamaica West Indies and that is where he met his wife Violet Loretta Shaw. Together they moved to the United States for a better life and settled in the Bronx. Aston was a carpenter and worked for New York City Housing Authority and eventually retired from there. He is predecessed by his wife Violet in 2006. He is survived by his daughter and son in law Cynthia and Monnie Stallworth. His granddaughter Marcia Thompson, Chevonne Thompson and Nicole Cagliuso and her husband Adam Cagliuso and Monique Stallworth . Great grand children Kamari, Aaron, Marc, Nasir and Aj. Aston will be cremated and both he and his wife’s ashes will return home to Jamaica and they will be spread at his request. There will be a memorial service at a later date to be determined.
