Obituary for Ada Snyder

Ada Snyder
Ada Snyder, nee Ada Perez, born Christmas Day, 1934, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, passed away on October 28, 2020. She worked for the Board of Education for thirty years, until her retirement as an accountant in 2000. She loved her neighborhood of Co-op City where she resided with her husband for over 50 years until her death. She also cherished her faith and her parish, Most Holy Rosary Church, in the Bronx. She is survived by Donald, her beloved husband of 64 years, their children and their respective spouses, David Snyder and his wife Karen and Christine Vartanian and her husband Neal, as well as her beloved younger sister Lucy Carreras, and her friends. She will always be remembered for her humor, her love for music and dancing, and the joy she received from simply meeting and talking with friends and neighbors and bringing them laughter and joy. She remains forever in their hearts.
