It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Rontanini on 2024-03-05 in the Bronx, NY. Anna Rontanini was born on 1936-10-28 in Gioviano, Italy. Before her retirement, Anna worked as an Alterations Specialist for Calvin Klein and Gucci. She loved telling stories about her work for Madonna and Yoko Ono, to name a few.
Anna enjoyed sewing, knitting, tending to her plants, and spending time with her family. She also spent many years enjoying summer vacations in Italy with her husband, Giannino.
She is survived by sons, Paul Rontanini and his wife Kathleen, Fabrizio Rontanini and JoAnn, and her grandchildren Matthew, Julianna, Christopher, Nicolas, and Andrew. She is survived by her sister, Maria Gabriella. She was preceded in death by her husband, Giannino Rontanini.
A viewing will be held at Schuyler Hill Funeral Home, 3535 East Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY, 10465 on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St Benedict's Catholic Church, 2969 Otis Ave, Bronx, NY, 10465 on Saturday, March 9. 2024 at 10:30 am.
