Surrounded by loving family, Vincenzo Manginelli, a lifelong resident of the Bronx passed away on Monday April 4th. He was 91 years old. Born in Grumo Appula Bari, Italy to Vito and Rosa Manginelli. Vincenzo was one of five children.
Vincenzo and Chiara would marry in Chiesa di Santa Maria di Monteverde in Grumo Appula, Bari Italy in 1959 and later be blessed with four children. Vincenzo was a hardworking entrepreneur. All who knew him were touched by his warmth, generosity and kind heart.
In his spare time Vincenzo loved to garden, spend time with his wife and family and listen to old Italian classics. He loved to attend all sports and school activities of his grandchildren and was their biggest fan! He will be remembered as a selfless, caring, and generous soul. He always stressed the importance of family and the importance of always chasing a dream.
Vincenzo is survived by his wife of almost 63 years; Chiara, his children; Rosa (Antonio) Ferraro, Giovanna (Frank) Spaziante, Angelo Manginelli, and his daughter-in-law Roseann Manginelli. Vincenzo is predeceased by his son, Vito Manginelli. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Anthony (Aimee), Chiarina (Daniel), Amanda (Matthew), Rina (Robert), Frank, Vincent and one great-grandchild Emma.
