Message to the Family: I am in somewhat of a surreal stage of being:.I lost a once important member of my past ironically I didn't expect to have the same raw emotion, the same abandonment and loss experienced as if I seen him last night. Being emotionally bombarded by this overwhelming sorrow kind of knocked the wind out of me.. this grief reaction takes you back to when things were good and suddenly our bad times are even cherished. Steve you were one of my best friends one of my first real relationships but through our trials and tribulations up until recently we've always stood in contact.. I feel like I lost a piece of me..
