Stephen M. Darner was a lifelong resident of the Bronx, New York. He was a proud college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from IONA college in New Rochelle. Steve was a retail associate for most of his career. He enjoyed poetry writing, and he read the entire works of William Shakespeare. Steve particularly loved popular music especially The Beatles. In addition, he had an impressive knowledge of trivia that would put any ‘Jeopardy’ contestant to shame. He will be missed. Steve is survived by his brother William and his wife Laura, his sister Kathy Mullinax, her husband John and his two nephews John and Kevin. Steve was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Lawrence. The family requests donations to Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in lieu of flowers.
