Condolence: The first time I met Rich, it was like sitting in a room with a long lost brother. Rich was honest, funny & didn't beat around the bush! My Dad mentored Rich at D'Agostino's, they had a very special relationship. Rich an I covered a lot of ground together from pool work in the Bronx then Bedford.
Rich always had the right answers and always made me like he was giving "fatherly" advice.
Your sudden passing makes me sad but happy knowing you're now with lots of old friends & family! I'll see you again friend.

Condolence: Hi Bud, I got the news yesterday that you had left us. It's sad that we never got to say our usual goodbyes and I'll see you soon. It was not to long ago when we lived in a place where we always wore shorts and never wore anything on our feet. I can still feel my feet burning from the blacktop on Pennyfield Ave. Summers were always great. We were never alone because of all the friends we had and still have from the neighborhood. We are all a little bit older now and have children and grandchildren. The one thing that will keep us going are the happy memories of times past. The word of you leaving has traveled fast and a lot of people are going to feel lost. I know I will be. When you spoke people listened. You were like a modern day Moses. Ask Rich La Greca they would say, he will tell us exactly what to do and where to go, and sometimes you did tell them where to go. You helped a lot of people over your lifetime, including me and my family. We are and will always be eternally grateful. We have been friends since I was 12 and I will miss you the most. You were more like a Brother than a friend. I know that you are now in a great place with all of the people that we love and miss. I know that someday we will meet again and it will be just like we did almost 58 years ago.
