Obituary for Richard Cestaro
Richard A. Cestaro passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 22nd surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by this wife of 65 years, Catherine, his daughter Clara Ferrara and her husband Fred, his son Richard Cestaro and his wife Elvira and his daughter Lea Ann Falabella and husband Joe. He was also a loving grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Richard retired as a salesman from Stella D'oro in 1994. He enjoyed trips to the casino, vacations in Seaside Heights, New Jersey and rooting on his beloved Mets. He was an accomplished dancer who won many competitions alongside his lifetime dancing partner Catherine. He was the rock of the family and will be sorely missed by all, especially at Christmas when dancing and singing were a pivotal part of the family's celebration. He will be remembered for his love, guidance and humor. He will remain in our hearts forever.
