There are no words that can be written that will tell you who CSM Raymon Barreiro was. You already know that.
I had the privilege of working and serving with CSM Barreiro during a 3-year period at the 411th CA BN. I never met an NCO more willing to teach, share, understand and lead his troops than CSM B. Or a person fuller of life, joy and positive outlook. We spent many a late night, commiserating, complaining and eventually improving our respective companies. I learned so much from you. He did it all with a big smile, a greeting of "Hello Lindo". And always asking trying to snatch someone for the Army M.A.M.A.O. course...lol. I truly loved you as a brother in arms, leader, and NCO. Your impact will live for a very long time.

Condolence: My heart broke when I heard the news about Top B. Ramon was one of the best leaders I ever had the distinct pleasure to work for. He was a man of highest integrity and he set a high standard for all of the Soldiers he worked with both enlisted and commissioned. Top B not only led but he taught his Soldiers how to lead. I was so proud to serve under him but I was even prouder to call him a friend. There was a quote he loves from Gladiator that her would quote often to his Soldiers, “what we do here will echo in eternity”.
