On Friday, May 28, 2021 Patricia A. O’Brien, age 85, loving wife of Robert O’Brien, loving mother to Maureen (Michael) Petrellese, and Mary (Thomas) Fayet, passed away after a short illness peacefully at home.

Patricia “Patsy” was born in 1935 to John and Teresa (Lee) Kivlan (Originally from Leitrim County, Ireland) and was raised in The Bronx, New York. She was a parishioner of St. Jerome’s and a graduate of Cathedral High School. Patsy went on to graduate from nursing school, and loved her chosen career.

Robert and Patricia spent 40 years in Throgs Neck, until moving to be near family in Bardonia, NY. They enjoyed cruising, vacationing in Myrtle Beach, watching the NY Yankees and Giants, and most all spending time with their grandchildren.

She was a devoted mother to her daughters Mary, Maureen and was preceded in death by her beloved Teresa Jean. Patricia cherished every moment with her children, and especially loved being “GG” to her 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
