Obituary for Pasquale Polcini

Pasquale Polcini
Pasquale “Lino” Polcini, 50, of Country Club, Bronx, passed away peacefully on April 3rd, 2022.

He was born on June 5th, 1971 to Antonio Polcini and Pasqualina Moffa in the Pelham Bay area of the Bronx. Pasquale attended St. Benedict's, and graduated from Salesian High School and was always described as a rambunctious child growing up. Throughout his early life, it was clear Pasquale kept a lighthearted view as he navigated the world around him.

After graduation, he began working in the family-owned pizzeria in Pelham for over four years, where he learned how to run a business. Using the knowledge he gained from this experience, he opened his very own pizzeria in Mount Vernon. Although he loved the restaurant business he eventually found himself working for over 20 years in Parkchester, starting in maintenance and working up to a Fire Sprinkler Inspector. His ability to take on many work roles throughout his life highlighted his adaptability and dedication to succeed and improve when he set his mind to it.

In 2003, Pasquale met his loving wife Michelle Santo and they were married shortly after. The couple went on to have one son, Nicholas, whom he valued dearly. He made his devotion to his wife and son clear to all who knew him, and would often describe his wife as his best friend and the love of his life.

Pasquale always made hobbies a priority and was an active hunter and proudly engaged in the sport with friends and family over the years. Pasquale also enjoyed making everyone around him laugh with his vibrant sense of humor and willingness to always make a joke. But most of all, Lino enjoyed spending time with family and friends and had a close relationship with his son whom he loved very much. The two were inseparable and often bonded over their love of hunting, archery, and motor cross sports.

Pasquale was predeceased by his father Antonio Polcini. He is survived by his mother Pasqualina Polcini, siblings Maria Stanco (Tony Stanco), and Antoinette Fierro (Tony Fierro); his wife Michelle; and his son Nicholas. Services will be held at Schuyler Hill Funeral Home on April 7th from 3-7pm.
