Mariano Serpa passed away on May 3rd, 2023 at Montefiore Hospital in Bronx, New York. Mariano, better known as Mario to family and friends, was born on the 21st of May in 1963 at Fordham Hospital in Bronx, NY. During his teenage years, Mariano moved to Puerto Rico in order to be closer to his father and pursue his long-time passion of becoming a professional bartender. Mariano was infamous for his generosity, loving his family and making sure that everyone in his proximity was having an enjoyable time. He was an avid baseball fan and was known to call up friends with that day’s scores. Mariano was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and cousin to all. Mariano is survived by the love of his life, Ana Quinones Guerra; children, Hilda Marie Serpa, Mariano (Zama) Serpa; grandson, Jonas Serpa; mother Hilda M. Campanelli; father Mariano (Luz) Serpa; brother, Jay (Vivian) Serpa; niece Ciara Serpa; half-sister Jaysha (Carlos) Serpa Ortiz; and numerous cousins, step-children and step-siblings. He is predeceased by step-father, Michael Campanelli Sr. and grandmother, Julia Dominguez Serpa. Visitation will be held Friday, May 05 2023 from 03:00 PM to 07:00 PM at
