Condolences

Condolence From: Janice Segman
Condolence: I was shocked and saddened to hear of Kenneth's sudden passing. We first met at BCS in the 1990's when we worked on a project together and became friends. He was smart and funny and had a droll sense of humor. Although our paths diverged and he went on to serve as the district manager of CB 10 in the Bronx and then to work for OSA, we maintained contact. I will remember Ken as a decent and caring man always determined to do the right thing. We shared a birthday...April Fool's Day. He was four years my junior and left this earth far too soon. May you rest in peace my friend. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Condolence From: Don Stern
Condolence: My name is Don Stern. Ken and I were friends for over 30 years-through good and bad times. I first met Ken in 1991 while both of us were working in The Office of NYC Council President Andrew Stein. Ken was a true friend; compassionate, giving, loyal and always someone I looked up to like an older brother. Ken was the true embodiment of civic pride. His dedication to public service extended to his love and care for everyone he came into contact with. Ken was always there to help everyone and was a true altruist. Ken also possessed a keen intellect and was one of the most well read individuals I have ever met. To all of us who knew him and cared about him his undying friendship and love will live forever. Words cannot express my profound grief and sadness-rest in peace kind soul and please know we love you forever.

Condolence From: Peggy Castaldo
Condolence: I still can’t believe Kenneth has passed away. Being first cousins We spent a lot of time together as children. I had not seen him since his wedding but we communicated a lot on FB, Messaging & Email. It was lovely to learn he was still the same kind hearted unbelievably brilliant, hysterically funny guy I knew as a much younger person. We talked about our shared family history & old movies & shared memories. He spoke so lovingly of his wife Patty. Of course we planned to get together but sadly that was not to be due to my health issues. I am really going to miss his generosity, his kind soul, his brilliant mind, & more than anything his empathy & unconditional love. Kenneth was one in a million. Truly. More than anything he loved his family. He was very close to his only sibling Patty & he spoke often of that closeness. I know I will see him again someday but I sure am going to miss him until the . I hope his wife will accept my heartfelt sympathy’s. Please know you are in my thoughts & prayers.
