"Katherine Ruffino was born on August 8, 1938, in Manhattan.
She grew up in the Bronx with her sisters, Jeanette and Irene. When she was nineteen-years-old, she found the love of her life with the “guy next-door,” Thomas. Thomas and Katherine got married on September 1, 1957. Over the years, they raised a family and watched it grow. In 2005, they moved to Congers, NY.
Katherine passed away on January 7, 2022, in her Rockland County home. She was welcomed into heaven by her husband, Thomas, and son, Thomas Jr. She is survived through her daughters, Mary and Donna, her two sons-in-law, Robert and Anthony, and her five grandsons, Anthony, Michael, John-Thomas, Tony, and Nicholas.
Service will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Schuyler Hill Funeral Home, in the Bronx, from 10:00am to 12:30pm. A burial will follow at Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY, at 2:00pm."
