John "Jim" Glynn, 91, of Bronx, New York passed away on June 8, 2020.
Jim was born in Chicago Illinois to Thomas and Winiferd Glynn. Beloved husband for fifty nine years to Kathleen ( nee O'Boyle) , loving father of seven children, grandfather to ten beautiful grandchildren, and father in law to loving daughters and sons in law. Dear brother to two brothers and sisters. Jim was incredibly passionate about nature, travel and books of history. He came to America as a newlywed in 1961 from Ireland where he was raised in Roscommon. He worked as a carpenter, helping to build Lincoln Center, and St. Frances de Chantal Church , where he was a parishioner for fifty years. Jim was laid to rest in St. Raymonds Cemetery in Throgs Neck . Dearest Jim, Dada, Daddy, and Grandpa you are dearly missed by your loving family and at peace among the beauty of nature surrounded by Gods goodness which you held so close to your heart.
