Joan Ann Bell, age 83, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, March 3rd 2021. She was born in the Bronx on April 14, 1937 to Thomas and Marie Cola. She graduated from St. Helena's High School. She regularly attended St. Benedict Catholic church. She worked for the United States Post Office for 32 years before retiring in 2013. She loved spending time with family and friends, and summers at the Jersey shore. She was a gift giver and showed her love by giving gifts to those she was closest to. She is survived by her 4 sons: Daniel Bell and wife Margie Bell, Richard Bell, Stephen Bell, and Robert Bell, as well as her two grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren: Shannon Watson (Daniel, Valerie, & Samuel), and Christine Maradiaga (Samantha and Lucas). Funeral services will take place at Schuyler Hill Funeral Home on Sunday, March 14th from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Mass of a Christian burial will be Monday, March 15th at 9:30am at St. Benedict's Church. Burial to follow at St, Raymond's Cemetery.
