George Moosburner, 92, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 after a long life and a short time in the hospital.

George was born in Chieming in Bavaria on May 16, 1926 to Otto and Maria (Heimhilger) Moosburner. They and his brother, Otto, immigrated in 1950 and he was a Bronx resident ever since. He was a master machinist and spent most of his career working on and fixing printing presses.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Inge, who passed away on February 3, 2008.

His is survived by children, Margit Bijou and George Moosburner; five grandchildren, Charles, Dana, Chris, Mark and Elizabeth; brother Otto; sisters-in-law Nancy and Helga, nephews and nieces, and great-granddaughter, Zinnia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday, March 15th 6:00 to 9:00PM at Schuyler Hill Funeral Home, Bronx, N.Y. Interment: St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx. For interment, please meet at Schuyler Hill Funeral Home Saturday March 16th at 10:30. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his memory to R.A.I.N.
