Tribute to Dad

Francesco (Frank) Schilero joined his wife Antoinette in heaven on January 11, 2017. They were married for 66 years. Frank was born on August 11, 1926 To Rose and Charles Schilero. He was the caring father to his three daughters and sons-in-law Rosemarie & Gary, Annette & Peter, and Francine & John. He was the loving grandfather of Peter (Rachael), Noelle (Adonis), John and Joseph and brother-in -Law of Angela Schilero. He Hoins his brothers Joseph, John, and Tony in heaven.
Frank was a proud veteran of World War ll and served in Europe as an MP.
Frank was a member of the NYC department of Sanitation and worked in a variety of Assignments. His last assignment was in the Division of Safety & Training. He Achieved the rank of Deputy Chief and retired in 1986 after 33 years of devoted service.
Frank loved to figure out how things worked and truly enjoyed solving problems regarding cars, plumbing, electricity, ect.
Frank devoted his life to providing for his family and his guidance and love will forever be remembered and treasured.
