Elizabeth “Chickie” Palladino née Ambacher was born in “The Bronx” on December 29, 1925. Until her recent illness, Chickie remained a lifelong resident and never left The Bronx for more than two weeks.

In 1945 Chickie married her husband Ralph (Ray). They remained married for 62 years until his death in 2007. They had two children Barbara Brady (Richard) of Shoreham, NY and Ralph Palladino (Mary) of Yonkers NY.

Chickie’s real pride and joy were her 5 grandsons Vincent, Damon, Ian, Jason, and Justin. She also enjoyed going to her two senior centers and playing cards with her friends. She loved to have them over to her house to cook for them and enjoy their time together.

Her zest for life and endless curiosity will leave a huge void in all our lives.
