Condolence From: Frank M. LESHER
Condolence: Dear Halloran family, I am very sorry for the loss of your dear father.
I live in Hanover, NH, but I have just received some family mementos from my parent's home, including a U. S. Army Purple Heart issued to 1st Lt. Edward R. Halloran, my Mom's first husband, KIA in Italy just about a year after their marriage in 1940. I am just wondering if he was somehow related to your family? I know he was from the Bronx as was my Mom.
Feel free to respond to my email or cell: 201.819.2004.
Again, please accept my sincere condolences.
Frank

Condolence From: Amy Lawlor
Condolence: As my brother Chris said, Uncle Edward was “the voice of the Hallorans”. Truer words haven’t been spoken. He was our spokesperson, family historian and a gentleman. I will always remember Uncle Edward’s mild manner, his way with children, his Bronx accent and his intelligence. Some of my favorite memories as a child were of watching him and Aunt Lillian dance at family weddings together and how much fun and love they radiated. Uncle Edward’s passing has certainly left a hole in our hearts, and he will be sorely missed. Sending all of my love to Aunt Lillian and to all of my cousins.

Love,
Amy Lawlor
