New York City- Carmen Paniagua, 92, beloved wife of Ralph Paniagua Sr., died on May 10, 2023. She was born on December 15, 1931 in Manati, Puerto Rico, the youngest daughter of Julia and Santiago Crespo.
Carmen married Ralph Paniagua, Sr. in 1949 and settled in New York City where they raised their son, Ralph, Jr. and two daughters, Diana and Nancy. Carmen was a savvy businesswoman, world-traveler, an avid gardener, and a great Salsa dancer, but her legacy is her family. She will always be remembered for her self-sacrifice, wisdom, beauty, and joy of life.
A service of remembrance will be held on Sunday, May 14, 2023 from 3-7pm at Schuyler Hill Funeral Home, 3535 Tremont Ave., Bronx, NY. Interment will be at The Calverton National Cemetery, Suffolk County, Long Island, NY on Monday, May 15, 2023.
