Artie was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. He was a beloved member of his community, Edgewater Park, for all his life. After graduating High School, Artie began his career with the NYC transit authority, which he faithfully worked for 35 years before his retirement.
Once retired, Artie lived life on life’s terms and really made the most of all his days. He loved to travel and explore new places with his wife, Patty. If he was not traveling with her, he was most likely in Texas with his beloved daughter and granddaughters, whom he cherished so much.
He was a true American patriot that fiercely supported our troops. He was a lifelong Yankee fan and a devoted and faithful parishioner of St. Frances de Chantel Parish.
Artie enjoyed golfing and fishing. If he was not outside in his yard listening to music or watching a game, you would find him somewhere out on the seawall. Artie was a “Killy Rock” kid.
Artie left a lasting impression with everyone he ever met, and if you were lucky, you may have even been “Arthurized.” He was the life of every party and the glue that held our family together. Our hearts will be broken forever without him, but we are all better for having known and loved him.
