We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Andrew J. Perretti. Andrew passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023 after a two-year battle with cancer. He was 65.
Andrew is survived by his mother, Josephine (Joanie), his children , Leanna and Billy, grandson Harley Ayala, siblings Anthony Perretti (Deanna), Ines Petterson, niece, Samantha DePompeis (Steven), and nephews, Christopher Petterson (Ashley), Matthew Petterson (Jennifer), Eric Perretti (Michelle). Great nieces, Isabella Perretti and Lucy Petterson.
Andrew was a life-long resident of Throgs Neck. He attended St. Frances de Chantal (1972), and St Raymond’s High School (1976).
Andrew was retired from the United States Postal Service. He was a freelance musician and prolific songwriter.
